Right at Home West LA needs a strong, reliable, dedicated, and committed caregiver for a male client in Santa Monica. URGENT NEED!

This client is in need of a Caregiver with experience handling post-stroke care (i.e. client is non-verbal, has feeding tube, and is very active).   
You must be very attentive and able to assist someone who is 5'7 and 130lbs without assistance. Must be able to work 9-5pm on Sunday and Monday and flexibility during the week. May require some Saturdays as well. 

 What do you need to apply for this role?

 Minimum requirements:
  • Have  a valid HCA (Home Care Aide) license.
  • Must have a valid CPR certification.
  • Must have a negative TB test within the past 2  years if working with another agency or get one within the first 7 days of working for us.
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • At least 6 months of caregiving experience  (note 2 or more years receive higher starting pay).
  • Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia & Parkinson's. 
  • Ability to work in the Santa Monica.
  • Be able to handle post-stroke care (See above).
  • Must be able to work 9-5pm on Sunday and Monday and flexibility during the week. May require some saturdays as well. 
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Flexible scheduling.
  • Great communication skills- able to receive text/phone calls and reply within 2 hours.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
ABOUT US:

Right at Home is a Home Care Organization (HCO) and is registered with the State of California which means all caregivers need to have a valid Home Care Aid license. If you do not have one, we can provide you with information on how to get one and may even help pay for the cost of the actual license if you qualify. In addition, the state requires that all caregivers pass a background check (this is something you must be willing to obtain on your own).
